Staff who work with people at risk of returning to hospital, or healthcare professionals working within reablement teams.

Course Information

  • Issues around the ethos of reablement will be discussed, including delegation by healthcare professionals
  • There will have been an opportunity to practise with mobility equipment that could help
  • Issues around improving mobility and confidence, varying ability and reablement will have been discussed in a workshop format, and possible solutions suggested
  • The importance of motivation and goal setting will have been emphasised
  • "Hands off" care and varying ability problems will be identified
  • Relevant legal issues will be discussed
