Target Audience

Supervisory staff charged with assessing and devising packages of care for adults with complex needs will benefit from attending this course.

A similar course is also available for those working with children.

Course Information

​

• Issues around modifying the environment will be discussed

• The correct strategies for the care package will be discussed and practised

• There will be an opportunity to complete local paperwork to document assessment and safe systems of work

• Special equipment can be provided that will facilitate these processes for delegates to use

• Staff will be shown current acceptable strategies for assisting adults with mobility impairments and time will be devoted to problem solving workshop.

• Relevant legal issues will be discussed

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations will be charged as follows:

​

• More than three weeks’ notice: No charge

• Two to three weeks’ notice: 75% charge

• Less than two weeks’ notice: Full price

​

In all cases, should Herts Handling Training be able to redeploy the trainer, there will be no charge.
