Target Audience

This course would be suitable for carers and nurses assisting people with impaired mobility and who may require hoisting.

 

Course Information

​

• Current accepted good practice in moving people in a variety of care settings and situations, including unexpected situations such as falling will be practised

• Relevant legal issues will be discussed

• Use of small handling equipment and hoists will be demonstrated and practised

• Workshops will allow for problem solving skills to develop

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations will be charged as follows:

• More than three weeks’ notice: No charge

• Two to three weeks’ notice: 75% charge

• Less than two weeks’ notice: Full price

In all cases, should Herts Handling Training be able to redeploy the trainer, there will be no charge.
