Course Information

​

• Delegates will have learned the Legal implications of safeguarding legislation/policies

• They will have been given information on Disclosure and Barring  checks

• Categories of abuse will be defined, and identification and reporting methods discussed

• Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and Best Interests will be discussed

• Strategies will be given to deal with behaviour that challenges, and an explanation of its causes

• The importance of person centred planning will be emphasised

• Relevant legal issues will be discussed

 

 

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations will be charged as follows:

• More than three weeks’ notice: No charge

• Two to three weeks’ notice: 75% charge

• Less than two weeks’ notice: Full price

​

In all cases, should Herts Handling Training be able to redeploy the trainer, there will be no charge.
