Staff who work with people who may fall whilst mobilising.

 

Course Information

​

• Staff will have discussed the problem of falls among the elderly, and identified causes, both intrinsic and environmental.

• Strategies to reduce falls amongst the elderly will be explored

• Staff taught how to deal with these unpredictable occurrences, according to local Falls Policy.

• Protocols for dealing with a fallen person will be investigated

• Relevant legal issues will be discussed

 

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations will be charged as follows:

• More than three weeks’ notice: No charge

• Two to three weeks’ notice: 75% charge

• Less than two weeks’ notice: Full price

​

In all cases, should Herts Handling Training be able to redeploy the trainer, there will be no charge.
