Target Audience

This course will benefit those therapists working in a rehabilitation setting, and using assistive equipment to allow patients to achieve their potential.

 

Course Information

​

• Delegates will have been given an explanation of the laws affecting manual handling issues, and the complexities surrounding treatment handling will have been explored.

• Balanced decision making will be discussed, and use of equipment to enable therapists to increase patient safety whilst challenging boundaries will be practised

• All will have spent time devising practical solutions to the hazardous manual handling elements of mobilising patients with a physical impairment

• Relevant legal and professional issues will be discussed

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations will be charged as follows:

• More than three weeks’ notice: No charge

• Two to three weeks’ notice: 75% charge

• Less than two weeks’ notice: Full price

In all cases, should Herts Handling Training be able to redeploy the trainer, there will be no charge.
